Another Random Thought Thursday–Idiot’s Delight

If Bloomberg runs for Prez, Obama and Guiliani all three are in the final run offs. There will be Jew, a Muslim, and Catholic, that’s interesting, huh.  All those old world religions struggling against each other right here in the land of the free.  No one cares about Scooter. No interest on my blog. If you want to increase your blog reads considerably talk about any young girl in show business. I am tempted but I will refrain from doing so.  The wordpress spam patrol is working up to over 200 spams. I must be doing something right. 14 more soldiers died in Iraq. America doesn’t care. I wonder if there is an additive that would change gasoline to the color of the blood of dead soldiers.  Oh, that would require that we care.  Talk-liar-radio took a hit from the radical Right this week. Even O’reilly slammed them but hey, what’s an idiot to do. I wonder why George Bush isn’t a womanizer or is he. What happen to Ms Rice. She has disappeared off the face of the earth. Once you disagree with the VP your out of there. Saw Hilary and Bill acting. Hilary is a better actor than Bill. Both are better than Fred Dalton Thompson.  Will someone ask George Bush why we are in Irag.  Scooter Libby gets the Oscar Meyer award for acting like a little gurl. McCain helped his campaign again this week by keeping his mouth shut. The gay bomb story last week. Straight men think that gay sex is so hot that turning their enemy gay would make them uncontrollably sexy and horny to other men. No wonder the religious Right is afraid of gays. They have given them too much power, even if only in their minds.  Sound like something that the religious Right might think up.  Hey that’s someone else’s fantasy. It’s one of the frogian thingys. We live in a time of absurdity. There is nothing too absurd to say or think. When are they going to move Fox News over to the comedy channel. When O’reilly say really stupid things, does he think that we believe him. So many people who think they are important. Who do you think will be brought up on war crimes. I don’t guess you can’t try a political Party.  Family Values went out the window as we bombed children in Afghanistan. Mr. Brownback what do you think, buddy. I guess there is nothing we won’t do, huh.  How low will George Bush take us. Pretty much distroying all those wonderful things we used to think about ourselves. Where is the religious folks today. Where is their outrage. Looking for abomination, I think that is one, don’t you. Cherry picking sins today? Why is the religious right so interested in Global warming.  They are our new neo-sciencetist. They hold the key to our future.

TONY BLAIR STILL KISSING GEORGE’S ASS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.

George wants Tony Blair to be an envoy to the middle east. I guess George want to reward Tony for following George into hell.  I think that George has figured out that Tony Blair is one of those ball less guys that will do anything that George asks.  George will be there running the show and Tony will be dancing his little dance for the Prez. You see that the kind of man that George Bush wants around him a man who can’t say no.  A servant in the tradition of the Great British Isle.  A valet of sorts to put out George’s suits for him. Maybe draw his bath.  One who will say “Yes, Sir!” like a good trooper.  George can spot men like Tony Blair in a instant.  He has been doing since he got into the political world. The Scooter Libbys, the Rumsfields, the General Paces, and Alberto Gonzales of the world who are worker bees  and do as their told for their 15 minute of fame in George Bush’s world.  My sister had that ability of sorts too. She could be in a room with a 1000 men and she would go right for the only loser in the room. That’s George’s talent and it is a great one.  Mr President, I think that Tony Blair will do you proud. He will be there through thick and thin just like the religious right here in America regardless what you do. He will be there to kiss your ass and shine your shoes.  We need another brave hearted man from Great Britian.

WAL-MART GOING DOWN THE ROAD TO NOWHERE

I worked for Wal-Mart of almost seven years.  I loved Wal-Mart when I first started. I love the people I worked with and my job. I left last year on October 15. I had enough by then. I had seen some super hard working assoicates leave in front of me. I’m not talking assoicates that were just hires but co-managers, assistant managers, and department heads.  The turn over for the year I left was 125%.  Wal-Mart had focus on the women shopper and in meetings the customer was referred as she and her.  The focus was definitely on women. All the women stuff was moved to the front of the store or in a place of prominence. A line of women’s ‘high end’ clothing was introducted. That turned out to be a failure.  I have been in the store occasionly since I left. I heard of more of the really loyal assoicates have left. People that gave their all to the store. Some with lots of years behind them. I try to stay away and not spend my money with Wal-Mart.  A Wal-Mart that has changed to dramatically over the years. Sam Walton would turn over in his grave if he knew. Once a assoicate minded company now the associates of no importance. More part time and temporary help. The turn over is so heavy that Wal-Mart doesn’t need to worry about insurance or benefits. The new low quality of assoicates even in store management is incredible.  The new idea is “some one of the street can do this kind of work.” I have been shopping K Mart which has already made its trip into nothingness. I find that prices are very close to Wal-Mart except the food. Plus there are no long waits at the check out. I read that Wal-Mart lost 3 billion in thief last year. When I was working there I was always hearing about people stealing computer and big TVs.  Associate turn over, that’s part of the picture.  Wal-Mart isn’t making any money on food. That’s why the shelves are always empty. They are just trying to get rid of the compeletion right now. Do I sound like a disgruntled assoicate. Well I am not. I just miss a lot of really great people.  You think I really give a damn about a company like Wal-Mart. I don’t care just a little bit. They are apart of corporate greed that America loves so much. I wish them well down the road to their own destruction. If your just buying stuff try K-Mart

YOU NEED TO TALK TO THE GHOST OF CARLA TUCKER, MR LIBBY

I hope it’s not going to be messy. This thing about Libby going to jail.  I think Scooter needs to get Paris’ Mobil Phone number. They need to talk. The problem is that people do bad things and then they don’t want to pay the price. Sorry, sometimes it doesn’t work that way.  The rich and powerful think they are exempted from any of this nonsense. Wrong again, batman.  There was once a young lady name Carla Tucker who did some nasty stuff with an ax and someone died.  Well, Carla found Jesus and turned her life around.  I hear even in prison that is no easy trick.  You see at the time George Bush was the Governor of the Great State of Texas.  Carla was going to die and she asked George Bush for help.  No way that Georgie’s was going to stop this woman from dying. He loves that kind of power shit.  Little Carla met her maker and George lived happily ever after. I realize that Carla was a woman and Scooter is a man. So Scooter might just get that pardon.  After all he was lying for the Vice President, not just anyone. It was a really good lie.  It appears that the only two people that are truely blood brother are Fredo and George.  I think that they would die for each other. I think their friendship is like no other in modern times. I see the way they look at each other on different clips. I can see the love that is there.  A true man to man kind of love.  I swear to God sometimes it looks like they are going to kiss.  Enough of that homo stuff. I’m sure they have never seen each other naakked in the Biblical sense.  Just next time you see some of news chips of them together take a good look. Back to Libby. I think Libby thought that the wonderful Vice President would not be such a badass as to leave him out in the cold.  Mr. Scooter, if that is in fact his real name, thought like all the Republican that they had died and gone to a law free heaven. That they could do what they wanted. Libby is like so many Republican they are cowards. How about 2 1/2 years in Iraq Mr. CryBaby.  Why doesn’t he just shut up and take it like a man. Oh, that takes balls.

INVADERS FROM MARS OR BODY SNATCHERS–I’M NOT SURE

Bloomberg is another one of those Republicans that isn’t afraid to open his mouth. I wonder how long it will be before George sends out the guys with broken noses and big sticks to have a talk to Mr. Bloomberg.  Haven’t seen Hagel in a while I hope they didn’t put him some concrete shoes somewhere.  Maybe put him in a time capsule like in Tulsa. In fifty years who will give a damn.  Bush’s hit squad must still be working. I don’t hear anything but praise from the ‘Stepford’ Repbulican Party. Maybe the body mind snatcher have put pods in the basement of congress and now they are just copies of real men.  Some sort of vegetable thingy. They appear like real men but guess what they think like turnips. I don’t know what turnips think like but you can bet they arn’t pondering the meaning of life. Maybe we are living in a time of the living dead. You know with all those guys with no speaking parts. Walking around with their arm held out in front of them. I think it’s more like “Invaders from Mars” where these zombie like creature with the help of that world famous evil talking head puts a something or other on the back of a person neck.  It appears the victim becomes submissive and somewhat  incoherent.  Sound familiar, huh. What I’m really looking for is a reason that we have so many zoombie like creatures in Washingon who look like the life has been sucked out of them.  I fear they have been sucked dry by the George Bush life sucking machine.  You have hear of people that suck the air out of a room when they enter it. It’s like no one else seems to be there but that one person.  A man that is so immersed in his own being that he sucks the life out anyone around him.  Like some kind of Hoover. Maybe it’s something else. Are the members of the goverment required to have regular drug tests? I think not. I think that the Senate and the House are so full of themself that don’t think they have to answer to us or anyone else. They are like George Bush.  They have become so important that they can’t believe the world could go on without them.  I remember the look on Santorum face when he lost. Like this can’t be  me. I’m too important for this to happen. Wrong. I think we need to surprise some more of the high and might guys. They better end this war soon or they can keep playing the zombies.  We don’t need no stinking Zombies!

BROWNBACK–MYTHICAL FAMILY VALUES– WORDS FOR DEMIGODS

I don’t like pasty white politicians who talk about family values.  Middle aged white guys who are from states that don’t matter in the scheme of things.  Men who will never have to have an abortion unless there is an act of God or something.  A man who doesn’t mind sending women off to fight for oil and then tells them they don’t have any control over their bodies. They can be blown away in Iraq but don’t come home acting like a full fledge citizen. Family values are like education,  the more politicans talk about either one of them the worst they become. It’s one of those catch all phrases that is in the eye of the beholder.  It’s not like there is anyone out there campaigning against family values.  It is one of those phrases that allow policians to preach to the choir and escape from the real issues.  It one of those feel good issue that has not significant importance.  It makes the listener feel like he is part of something.  They use to call them flim flam men. Snake oil salesmen. Dr. Feelgood. Is a radial fundelmentalist Catholic any worse than a radial Mormon.  Is a radial Shitte any worst that radial Sunni.  We can’t let the Brownback and the Hackabee divide us for their political gain like all religions try to do.  Religion should not be a competion.  It’s not a ‘holier than thou’ race to appear more religious that the next guy.  First of all, religious politican is a oxymoron.  We are making religion a litmus test for a man becoming our President as the one we have  stands before us and lies. Excuse me! Also Mr. Brownback is pro-family.  Another phrase that keeps  him from talking about the War, about Immigration and jobs in America. All the things that effect the family unit.  Issues that give our families real value. I think he needs to grow a pair and start talking about real issues.  Leave those mythical phrases to the preachers and product advertisers that love them some family values.  Real family values are a good job and health care insurance and a drug free society that lets the young grow and become a person they want to be. All these other issues are lying by the wayside because they are problems that we are unable to solve. We don’t need a Mr. Brownback in the White House. He is like Tiny Tim tip toeing through the tulips.  A ballless wonder. We need to decide if we want to elected a demigod or a President.  We have the frist already. You think we need another.

TULSA TIME CAPSULE–A WORLD AWAY

I lived in Tulsa in 1957. Matter of fact I was there the day they buried the car. I believe it was a big finned Plymouth Belvedere.   1957 was good times.  The fifties were a time of  fun for me even though I had a miserable childhood.  We lived on Main Street. 1927 Main St. Next to an Italian Resturant. Adophs, our back yard was their parking lot. I was thirteen in 1957.  First year in junior high school. You had to wear a belt and your pants couldn’t be on your hips. The Elvis influence you know.  I remember a Saturday Freddy and I went to the movies, the one on Second Street. They were the cheap ones 15 cents to get in and popcorn and big drink 25cents. We would spent all day Saturday there in the coolness of the movie house.  On our way back home we ran across a crowd of people and a time capsule. I know I put something of mine in there. I don’t remember what. We hung around there as kid do that don’t have anything else to do until we finally had to go home.  I think 1957 was truly a time capsule for America. An America that we dream about but has long been lost.  America of UFO’s and big fat cars with huge fins.  It was like they could almost fly.  We had a world of possiblities.  There were no gay people and no one had abortions. There were no black people. There only a few Mexicans even in Oklahoma. There were no wars and no bad people. There were no drugs. It was so good to be white. It’s a time that Right Wing christians would love to live in. A time they would love to recapture.  The time of grand illusions.  A time of suppended animation until the peace was shattered by the Viet Nam War. Of course that was a world seen through the eyes of a white trash poor boy with a drunk for a father and a mentally ill mother.  Of course, illusions don’t last for ever. As we see 50 years later. The world has chanced. It was just a quite time, a moment after the big war, so we could catch our breaths.  A moment in time.

THE IMMIGRATION BILL IS A DONE DEAL–ANYONE WANT TO BET AGAINST IT

Well, boys and girls it is a done deal. You know it and I know it. Excuse me while I dodge the bullshit that is coming at us.  I love the idiots on parade routine that the Republicans are putting on.

Nothing like a good lie to get us in the 4th of July spirit.  Just think there will be more citizens to celebrate all our freedoms. I love a good Repbulican Parrrtttaaaay. We can all party down.  I had a neighbor when I lived in Dallas who has since pass on who was taught to dislike anyone who wasn’t white. Of course, she had a black maid and a mexican gardner. I head her say once about her Maid ” Who does she think she is” after they had a fight. As the years went by they were close friends.  She gave the maid a couple of mink stolls that she had.  She helped the gardner send his daughter to a private school. She out lived her maid. She seemed lost after she pass away.  I think we sometime get into a mind set and we say things we don’t really mean.  We are all kind of intermixed like so much 7 bean soup. I made a trip back to Texas a couple of years back.  I used to live in Lakewood. That the older part of Dallas near White Rock Lake. After living in an almost totally white city, I was surprised by the fact that Dallas had so many hispantics and blacks.  I went to the grocery store and I was the only white person in the store.  I realized that Dallas hadn’t changed. There had always been a lot of hispantics and blacks. It was I that had changed I just wasn’t use to seeing alot of people of color.  America has changed too and it isnt lily white anymore. We are changing everyday. Will the Immigration Bill change the face of America, no way Jose. There are those Americas who say we shouldn’t just give them citizenship.  At Ellis Island that is exactly what they did. They just got on a ship and came to America and they gave them their citizenship. They didn’t have to work for little money first. They didn’t have come through some hole in the fence.  We haven’t been letting come in by accident. They have been an asset to our country. Believe it or not. They have filled a void. As we build the fence and make out like we are going to keep them out, nothing will change. We need them to do our work that other American won’t do. This immigration Bill is being passed by the Republican Party that won’t pass minimum wage increases. This is a big business bill and it’s going to pass.  For anyone who isn’t agreeing with the Republicans they ask,” Who hell do they think they are?”

THE NEW, THE BETTER, THE ALMOST DIFFERENT, YES IT’S THE SURGE

Harry Reid called General Peter Pace incompetent as a war Leader. I really wish Mr. Reid would just shut the hell up for a minute.  Let us absorb the last stupid thing he said. First of all, Mr Bush who really is calling the shots in this war, if he didn’t have the Superman syndrome, maybe we could start making some kind of headway towards coming home.  I think George Bush is too stupid to be in denial.  He thinks that moving around the furniture and personal will make a different. I don’t think that General Pace is incompetent, nope I don’t  think so. How many more will Bush fire to cover his own, lets say his inability to rise to the occasion.  If there is only one outcome permitted then the war is lost.  We have all this sophisticated equipment and yet we keep losing.  21th century stuff and using it against a people who have fought for centuries by any means to their disposal.  As earily as the 1980’s  the Iran/Iraq war that lasted 8 years took 500,000 Iraq lives wiping out a generation of young men. Here we go again.  Before we can decide anything about the war. We have to decide why we are there. I mean the real reason we are there. If is to make that part of the world a place for democracy, so be it. I don’t think we are there for that. We can’t start fighting or winning or all those other words that the decider guy uses until we are honest with ourselves.  It has been such a dishonest 6 plus years, hasn’t it. I don’t know if we have it in us. You can’t fight for something you don’t believe in. How much longer are we going to watch George Bush and his war machine move around furniture. How long is this Peter Sellers like character going do his slap stick of incompetance before we decide it isnt funny any more. Stumpling and plate falling all around with nothing to show but a lot of American blood.
