STOP THE PRESSES–PARIS HILTON–CRYING LIKE A BABY
June 9, 2007
I guess if the Law had me cuffed and was hauling me off to the slammer. I’d be crying like a baby too. The News World stopped again as this story began to unfold. MSNBC who was interviewing Colonel Rich Francona stopped right in the middle of the interview to show some screw up videos of Miss Hilton being carted off to jail. The war in Iraq stopped and all the soldiers and also the insurgents watched on cell phones. This is so celluar, dude. What the F. Has this world gone nuts? Have we lost all F ing senses? How could this happen? How in the hell can something like this happen? I hope this puts the nails into the coffin of her fifteen minutes of fame. No war news today, check back tomorrow. You know why the press does what they do? Rating, there will be more hits on any blog that has her name than any about the war or anything else. So you can imagine what it does to all the cable channels that are already in the tanks for as ratings. The Ipodicans always want to know about people like Paris or that Lindsay Lohan girl. There is nothing more annoying than a child star who doesn’t know when to go home. They both should have a time out and placed in a corner until they grow up. Both are some out of control little girls from the mememe generation. Loud and obnoxious, someone you fear you would be caught in a stalled elavator with. They are the valley girls of the 21th century and they have us all gagging but there is no spoon. They are American’s little choosen girls that dance around like little French Poodles trying to hold the spotlight for just one more minute. I think all of us have had enough of Paris Hilton and her dog and pony show. Please stand back so the universe can revolve around Paris, thank you. She is not the disgrace here its the American media that has gone insane and I’m talking about all the cable and broadcast folks. What little repect we have for them is quickly going down the meme tubes. There has to be a standard for these people or they become just another American joke like the Presidency. America is in some suicidal self destructive mode. I just want to thank the electronic media for joining in.

You know, a lot of news about the war is just as much for ratings. If they weren’t vying for ratings with their news about the war they would report on the good things our troops do as well as our strategic failings and fatalities. The fact is, news is partially about ratings because if you don’t have good enough ratings you will fail, and no longer be able to give any news. Every channel covers Paris, because the majority of people want to see it, and if they can’t get it on the channel they’re watching they’ll change to another channel.
