I don’t like it when a lot of people read my blog.  It makes me uncomfortable. People surprise me by what they read.  Things I like they don’t.  Some days my blogs sucks. I know that. Sometimes there should a Pulitzer given.  Rudy posts are read the least.  I thought some of my religious stuff would get more reads but no.  Mormons posts get a good read but I wouldn’t being doing much more on Mormons I think I have said enough about something I don’t care that much about. I figure most people don’t read all my post just a couple of sentences and then there are gone.  I had 66 spams this week. I really would like to read what they have to say or not. Not sure about that. If they don’t respond properly  the comments are thrown out. That’s o.k.. You see there are alot of people that have had control of what we think long enough. I’m hoping blogging will open up the thought process and let others be heard.  The truth thought police has been the electronic(Radio and TV) media. They have had control of the mic in on hand and have the delay button in the other. I think it is disturbing to those who believed they had silenced everyone who didn’t think like them. I do hope those spamers would get a blog and tell it like it is.

Joe: “Kind of funny your not attacking Barak Obama based on his religious background. You wrote, “You think that the Baptists are going to be running out vote for someone they think is not going to heaven. I don’t think so.” Do the Baptist believe that those from the Islamic, Jewish or Muslim beliefs are going to heaven? If that’s the case Obama’s not going either. You’re a hypocrite and a hate monger. Religion and party affiliation is the only thing you or Sharpton have against Romney. When we learn to judge men by their character alone, Instead of by “race, color, or creed” our nation will choose the leaders that will guide our country beyond our greatest expectations.”

I like it when someone reads into something that is not there.  I am sorry you are upset about the Baptist thing.  I was brought up in the south and believe me that is the way they think. I don’t think I said that’s what I think. I am always suspect of anyone who decides who is or isn’t going to heaven. The Post wasn’t really about Romney it was about Al Sharpton. Do I think Romney will be the next President? No. Do I think Obama will be the next President? No.  As far as character it is mostly what I judge people by.  Character is a not changing part of a man’s make up. You have it or you don’t.  You can not support gays then not support gays. You can’t support abortion and then not support abortion.  You can not be a man of character and support the war in Iraq and the deaths of our young men and women. How can a man of character not speak against the man who has almost destroyed this country. As far as Al Sharpton, his character, I wouldn’t want to have to depend on him. He isn’t running for President.  The conservative folks have silented all the blacks and he is the only one left to defend them. Isn’t that sad. If it isn’t about religion why is Romney seating next to Pat Robertson and giving a commencement address at a Pat’s religious “University”.  Now there is a man of character. You might want to check up on that guy. As for a being a hypocrite and a hate monger, well if it makes you feel good go ahead call me those names.  I wish you would have sent me a couple of paragraphs with examples of Mr. Romney strong character and his dedication to America. As far as who goes to heaven,I gave that up a long time ago. That job belongs to the more religious folks. I really don’t have anything against Romney. I do have something against a political  party that has almost destroyed this country with the help of the religious right.  By the way, I agree with you about 95% except the hypocrite and hate mongering thingy. Thks

p.s. I like the way you put me and Al Sharpton together. Nice touch.

Mitt Romney is appalled by the words of Al Sharpton. Not that he as never been confronted by anyone in the past. Everyone  knows what all evangelicals and a lot of other people are saying about LDS (Mormons). That it is a cult and they can’t go to heaven because of blab blab blab. You have all heard it before.  What this is really about is Mr. Romney, a white conservative, dueling with much “disliked” blackman Al Sharpton.  Its like Romney peeing on the wall. Marking his territory so to speak.  He is saying “Man, am a good looking white guy like all you other white guys. I have a beautiful wife who wears too much makeup, but hot in a middle aged sort of way. I have the same values as you and this nappy-headed black guy is bringing me down.” Until the next election is over Al Sharpton will be the most important black man in America next Obama.  He will be quoted by every white conservative running for office and every fascist radio-talking head.  Get all them white folks all scared about black folks. It still works boys and girls.  These politicians will be distressed, disheartened, horrified, dismayed, and you name it by what he says.  He will be the man of the hour.  They would use Obama but he has more sense than they do, at least most of them.  Unlike most he can speak in complete sentences. If Mr. Romney thinks that any fundamental or evangelical Christan is going to vote for him he might want to read some more tea leafs. Then the Baptist had their convention in Salt Lake they were on the street trying to save Mormons.  So you think that the Baptists are going to be running out vote for someone they think is not going to heaven. I don’t think so.  All these white guys think this election is about who can be “Holier than thou” , they are on the wrong train.  This election is about Viet Nam Iraq.  How may more  broken bodies of men and women will be stacked up for all to see. How many bench marks will be have passed.  The ten pasty faced white guys may think that Al Sharpton frightens American but the war in Iraq sickens them more.  Obama may be the Magic Negro but Al Sharpton is the black man that every white bigot loves to hate.
